Manifesting with AI

Updated: 3 days ago

Can a Machine Help You Create Your Reality?

The Paradox of Control and Letting Go

If you’ve ever worked with AI, you’ll know that it operates in a strange middle ground between precision and unpredictability. You give it input, a clear direction, but what comes back is often unexpected—sometimes brilliant, sometimes absurd. Sound familiar? If you’ve ever dabbled in manifestation, you might recognize the same dance at play.

Manifestation isn’t about strict control. It’s about setting an intention, taking inspired action, and then surrendering to the flow. You don’t get to micromanage the exact outcome. AI writing, strangely enough, works the same way. You prompt it, guide it, and then step back to see what emerges.

As I wrote in my book The Alchemy of Manifestation:

This might sound paradoxical: 'Surrender? I thought I was trying to manifest my dreams, not give them up!' And it’s true that many of us equate surrender with defeat. But surrender in the alchemical sense doesn’t mean you stop caring or abandon your desires. Instead, you relinquish the incessant need to force reality into a narrow mold. In that letting go, you discover a deeper power—the capacity to flow with what the universe is orchestrating, rather than battling against it."

This mirrors my experience with AI. You don’t force it—you collaborate with it. You let it surprise you, trusting that some strange alchemical process will shape something even better than you imagined.

AI as a Tool for Clarity (and Chaos)

Writing with AI is like working with a hyper-intelligent brainstorming partner who has read everything but has zero personal experience. It can be wildly creative, offering fresh angles you hadn’t considered, but it also needs refining.

The same applies to manifestation. When you put an intention into the world, you often get feedback in unexpected ways. It’s not always about adding more effort—it’s about refining and choosing.

AI, like manifestation, is a process of taking away what doesn’t work rather than forcing what does. You generate an overflow of ideas and then sift through, keeping only what resonates. It’s about recognizing the gold in the noise.

The Magic of Surprises

One thing I’ve learned while writing with AI is that surprises are inevitable. Sometimes, it creates something so profoundly insightful that I pause in disbelief. Other times, it veers off into bizarre territory, making me question everything.

This is also true in manifestation. If you’re too rigid, you’ll get frustrated. If you stay open, the process becomes an adventure.

AI, like manifestation, requires trust. You set the intention, but you must be willing to be led somewhere unexpected.

Are You Really in Control?

We like to think we control the process—whether writing, manifesting, or shaping our lives—but do we? When you work with AI, you quickly realize that control is an illusion. It follows your direction… to a point. Then, it surprises you.

This echoes the deeper truth of manifestation:

Manifestation is not about turning the universe into your personal wish-granting factory. It’s about harmonizing yourself with the larger tapestry of existence, so your desires and the unfolding of life begin to work in tandem. This synergy can appear miraculous—and maybe it is—but it’s a miracle rooted in principles older than time. Release your death grip on what you think should happen, and allow the genuine gold to emerge.

The best things happen when you set the intention and then get out of the way.

AI, Manifestation, and the Dance Between Order and Chaos

So, can AI help you manifest? Not in the way you might think. It won’t “attract” anything for you. But it will reflect your inner state back at you. It will challenge you, offer new perspectives, and force you to be clear on what you actually want.

Working with AI, like working with manifestation, requires:

• Intention – You must start with a clear purpose.

• Flexibility – You have to be willing to be surprised.

• Selection – The magic happens in refining what’s given to you.

• Surrender – The best results come when you stop forcing and let the process unfold.

I never expected AI to become such a profound creative partner in my life. But, much like manifestation, I’ve learned that the best things come when I stay open, trust the process, and let the unexpected unfold.

So, what happens when you let go of control and embrace the dance of creation—whether with AI or the universe itself? You just might manifest something better than you ever imagined.
